Periodontal Extractions for Broken Teeth

Broken - Fractured Tooth Extractions

Teeth broken off a the gumline frequently require removal. Fractured teeth also may require removal depending upon the structural damage that may not be readily visible.

In this video that patient sustained two broken anterior teeth and a fractured front tooth. Periodontal protocols were used to sever all connective tissues so efficiently that the tooth structures literally fell out.

No invasive procedures were required for extraction. Bone grafting products were used, along with suturing to create new, healthy bone that will later provide the foundation for dental implant replacements of the lost teeth.

Periodontists represent a very sensible alternative to outdated tooth extraction treatments that most of us prefer to avoid.
